Week 3 of didactics of English I

Week 3 - Review

February 06/08

During this week, we finished the topic of the direct method and GTM, but only after creating a table of the differences between these two methods, which is as follows.

The approach of each method although it may seem similar, if you can find their differences, it also depends a lot on how that method is taught.

Well, now we will talk about a new method, a method that would be one of my favorites so far as it is more entertaining because it includes the previous methods which creates a more practical, visual, and dynamic teaching.

The audiolingual method seems to me a very practical method to use key words as well as repetition because it encourages the practice of listening and speaking which helps a lot to comprehension, besides being dynamic, it creates more confidence with the students, without omitting any previous method.

During the class we do different examples that can be used in this audiolingual method, among them, personal presentation, fruit games and to reinforce the memory, mentioning the names of your classmates.
