The last Week 18 of Didactics of English I
Week 18 - Review
May 28 / 30
During this week the groups finished presenting their topics, the presentations were dynamic, entertaining, and enjoyable, we also completed our last exam to finish the didactics I semester.
- The fifth group explains Reading Comprehension, intermediate level, which is the ability to read a text, process it and understand its meaning. It is based on two interconnected skills: word reading (being able to decode the symbols on the page) and linguistic comprehension (being able to understand the meaning of words and phrases).
- The sixth group explains more about Grammar, the rules of a language according to the language level of the student, in order to better express their ideas.
- The seventh group shares with us the importance of learning Vocabulary because it is fundamental to learning any language. Vocabulary is the foundation of all language, as it provides us with the necessary elements to express ourselves, connect with others, develop critical thinking and confidence, and build life and relationship skills.
- The eight group explained how to make good use of the phonetic alphabet to have better Pronunciation. Pronunciation is really important for communication and to make sure that people understand your message. Pronunciation is also useful for listening comprehension. When you know how words sound in a sentence, you understand what you hear much better.
- The ninth group allows us to understand what others are saying and to respond appropriately. By Listening Comprehension, we are exposed to new words and expressions. This enriches our vocabulary and helps us communicate more accurately.
- The tenth group explained advanced level Reading Comprehension, with the help of a news item to be able to observe and understand the text and improve reading according to the level.
- The last group took up the previous Grammar topics with the difference that it was aimed at an intermediate level.
Thank you very much for sharing with us all your knowledge teacher, I hope the next semester will be as much fun, many blessings and sorry for any damage caused.
