Week 15 of didactics of English I

Week 15 - Review

During this week we learned about Describing Teachers

To better understand this topic, we must take into consideration certain aspects such as:




It is important to keep these aspects in mind if we want to be a teacher someday.





Teacher’s role in the classroom

A. Controller: Leading from the front.
B. Prompter: When students forget something, such as the instructions of a task, the teacher is there to remind them.
C. Participant: Taking an active role; for example, in a class discussion.
D. Resource: When students ask the teacher’s help. For example, when they don’t know what the meaning of a word is.
E. Tutor: When giving feedback about a large project. 


Also, during this week, we made an audio on Vocaroo where we say how has been our experience with all the teachers we have had, besides answering if we would like to be teachers someday.

Week 13 of didactics of English

Week 13 - Review  April 23 / 25 During this week we finished with presentations about different intelligences, and we did an exam. The ninth group talked about the topic of Existential intelligence  is also called spiritual or transcendental intelligence and refers to the facet of human beings that leads them to delve into existential aspects such as who we are, what is the purpose of life, what happens after death, etc. The next group talked about the topic of  Verbal - Linguistic   Intelligence ,  which they explained very well, and it was really enjoyable because their activity to understand the topic was very entertaining. The last group talked about  Mathematical   Intelligence - Logic, this a very complicated topic, because it is not only about remembering but using logic. thank you for being here :D
