What it means for grammar-translation is that students will learn and memorize the grammatical rules of both the target language and their native language. S: gives more emphasis on grammar, sentence structure, and meaning. O: focus on grammar, sentence structure, and word meaning from the text, and don't give any specific approaches to pronunciation skills. W: gives more active learning processes to the students rather than the teacher. T: seemed like a non-interactive method. There's less contact from the teachers with the students because they just learn from a text.
