Week 4 - Review February 13/15 We had the pleasure of using a mood cube to create sentences with the direct method thanks to the visual aid, and we also put the GTM method into practice, by translating a song and poem,  similar to last week, in class, we practiced the methods to better understand how small exercises can help us to understand and use the language.  DM GTM During this week we got to know the Silent Way method   it is based on the idea that language learning can be enhanced in three main ways: discovery rather than teaching; problem-solving in the target language; and the use of physical tools.  Every teaching method the silent way method has its own way of development, with its main principles and techniques to be developed in the classroom. Week 3 - Review February 06/08  During this week, we finished the topic of the direct method and GTM, but only after creating a table of the differences between these two methods, which is as follows. Week 2 - Review  January 30th/ February 1st During this week we had a small review of two important methods of didactics or teaching, we discussed the points of the direct method and the grammar-translation method. Something curious about these methods is that one is known as the natural method and is often used in teaching foreign languages since this method is the closest that every human being has access to learning a language when he/she is born (DM). To better understand this, we had 3 questions: What is your way of learning grammar? How do you practice your listening skills? How important are colorful visual aids for you? (In the learning process) Questions helped us understand that each person has different learning and approaches when learning something new, in this case, a language. It is important to highlight that the grammar translation method is deductively or deductively and with more rules therefore the direct method is more effective when you start learning a n...
